Meet Lisa
I’ve learned in life to “go with the flow” and that is exactly what I do with my art. I mix acrylic paints with multiple mediums to create viscosities that enable me to create movement on canvas. Then, I use various techniques to attempt to move the paint to my desired outcome. While I have an idea what the painting should look like when I start, sometimes, I end up with something totally different, and that, to me is the best part of my process. Once the paint is completely dry, I seal it with resin giving it a glassy effect.
I tend to gravitate toward my “comfort” coastal colors and often try to work with a large bright white negative space. I prefer working with canvases over 16 x 20 and really enjoy creating extra large commission works. As each piece is very unique and cannot be duplicated, I only sell originals, no prints.
